Arlen Specter To Speak About Gonzales on “This Week” Sunday Morning

Ranking Senate Judiciary Committee Member Arlen Specter (Rep. - Pa.) will speak about Alberto Gonzales’ upcoming testimony on Tuesday when he appears today on ABC’s This Week Sunday talk show.

This should be the first major response by a Committee Member to the Attorney General’s Op-Ed piece in today’s Washington Post.

How will Specter respond to Gonzales’ assertion that he did “nothing improper”?

This blog is curious to learn what Specter’s response will be to the AG’s spin that American’s should have faith in the Department of Justice’s ability to investigate him, the agency’s chief.
